Froglet, an Istanbul based brand, is designed and founded by Elif Canik to create a feel-good world for little humans. Our products are created in sync with nature and earth carrying the collective identity and values of the past generations in an inclusive way. Various techniques and motifs of hand knitting, reflected as resemblances of complex yet organic lines of nature, are used both as an inspiration and a tool to create our products. We believe in the power and the importance of the ancient sources therefore we try to use materials that have the similar starting point as we do, the earth. Bringing out the mandatory sense of belonging to the nature, our core, our past to obtain a feel-good approach, cosiness and warmth is essential for Froglet. In a world full of fast-paced, plastic-feel, exhausting visual and physical consumption, we believe babies and kids should be able to experience the calmness and simplicity to form their own imagination without being overloaded with ever-changing trend elements.

Froglet gives more attention to craftsmanship, creativity and less to the idea of clothes or objects that are disposable, that’s why we only produce limited number of designs in small batches. All our products are hand made by local women artisans with extraordinary care and attention, making each piece unique and authentic. Natural and organic fibers are our primary choice and main focus while baby-friendly anti-pilling blends are only used when its needed.
